Sorority Row 2009 is the remake of the 80’s classic horror flick ‘House on Sorority row’ which was a favoured, grotesque slasher movie by many. The creepy, frightening moments in the original flick coupled with a great soundtrack was truly endearing for many who are fans of the 80’s genre horror movies. Many might be compelled to think that Sorority Row 2009 might be a rip-off of the film ‘I Know What You Did Last Summer’.
Great buddies and sorority sisters Cassidy, Claire, Ellie, Jessica and Megan are the thick-of-friends, avowed to faith, covertness and camaraderie, with nothing seeming to come in the way of this strong bonding. This amity is set to face impending trial and tribulations when a trivial prank played out in a house party takes a shocking, unexpected turn with Megan ending up in a blood bath. The other four with imminent fear of their clanger becoming public and the consequent disastrous effect on their vivid future ahead, conceal the gory carcass and vow to keep mum forever.
As time flies by and the girls having donned their graduation hats, are on their way out of the sorority house. As the girls engage in a concluding farewell party, with spirits going high, none would have thought that their past would come to haunt them yet again, as they receive a MMS clicked on the fateful night from an unknown sender. With eerie regularity, the girls and their guy friends are followed around by the undetected slayer.
As the girls ponder hard as who could be responsible for this strange turn of events, they are running short of time as they come across more brutal slayings. Could it be the return of the Dead or someone with vengeance out to get them? Who will be this slaughterer be and how many more will meet their fateful end before sanity can be restored is to be seen in this pulse-thudding, suspense remake.
This movie was a surprise Sorority row (2009) most of the teens will love this movie and it was a good movie trailer for any one. This movie does appear to make a fine thriller movie experience and I did enjoy this trailer and looking ahead to see the film.
I would definitely recommend seeing this movie, you won’t be disappointed. Overall, a really good movie with excellent gore, nudity, and sorority girls being killed horribly. If you still have not watched the movie,I think you should not hesitate to view it.
