There has been a strong buzz regarding the two child actors of Slumdog Millionaire, Rubina Ali and Azhar Ismail being hauled in for starring in the movie ‘Lord Owen’s Lady’, with talks going on to rope in Anthony Hopkins.
The duo child actors are slated to brace the giant screen yet again with this film. The stand –out actors who donned the roles of youngsters Latika and Salim in the movie ‘Slumdog Millionaire’ that garnered Oscar fame, would now be seen acting along with the brilliant Anthony Hopkins.
With Anthony Hopkins’ association in the film still quite unclear, the duo child actors have already become part of the star cast group, with which part they would be enacting being undecided at the moment. Negotiations are on to take Hopkins for the role of Lord Owen’s father.
As the news of their casting spread within few days of Ismail’s father’s demise due to tuberculosis four days back, the executive producer of ‘Lord Owen’s’ Martine Pennell expressed deep regret for his loss and stated that it was his father’s wish that he act in the movie.
The two child stars in reality hail from the slum areas of Mumbai and this movie would be their foremost encounter of acting with a Hollywood luminary like Anthony Hopkins.
