A testimony to Salma Hayek’s gorgeous looks is that she looks spectacular despite having a long flowing beard. The Mexican stunner in her latest form bears an eerie resemblance to the Big Brother house comrade, Siavash in disguise, showing off crude facial hair for her part in the movie ‘Cirque Du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant’ that is slated for release on 23rd October.
The 42-year old actress is seen as Madame Truska, a babe of a vampire played by John C Reilly, who is part of a freaky show that tours across places. The wacky story revolves around Truska who starts sprouting facial hair growth as soon as she is overcome by feelings of passion for her lover.
Earlier in her career also, Hayek had to compromise on her appearance for the sake of art in the movie ‘Frida’ wherein she had to display fuzz for depicting the role of the tumultuous artist Frida Kahlo. She admitted to even shaving off her face a few times to get the look seem as authentic as possible.
Hayek, happily married to fashion honcho, Francois-Henri Pinault who is the executive producer of popular U.S. series ‘Ugly Betty’ had been away from work due to the birth of her child. According to Hayek, the challenges of motherhood were far greater compared to the role in the movie.
