The verdict on the Rihanna-Chris Brown battering case finally took shape after facing considerable snag since 5th August, condemning Chris Brown to six months of gruelling community labour alongside a five year long probation period.
In June, Chris Brown pleaded culpable to mauling his then girlfriend, Rihanna prior to the Grammy Awards held in LA in February. The judge’s decree entails Brown to physically enduring community labour rather than community service and would have to undertake a year- long therapy schedule for domestic violent behaviour. The R&B singer would for a period of the subsequent five years and at all times keep a distance of no less than hundred yards from Rihanna, something that he would need to strictly adhere to, violating which he would face the necessary implications.
20-year-old Brown remained silent through the ruling, except for the time he conceded to the terms and conditions. Brown would be serving his community labour in Virginia that would comprise of garbage removal, cleaning vehicles and maintaining hygienic on the grounds. Brown has also been charged a fine of 2,500 dollars and has to make an appearance yet again on 19th November in court for an assessment on his progress.
Chris Brown was detained on 8th February following a major physical tussle caused due to a dubious text message from another lady. In the major brawl that occurred in the Hancock Park in LA, he forcibly pulled Rihanna out of their Lamborghini, jostling her face on the window pane and went on hitting her on the face many times.
Brown has since then expressed utter repentance on his unpardonable behaviour evident in a video footage that was seen on his website and his constant apologies to Rihanna that has had her negligible acceptance.
