Jay-Z and Lady GaGa are slated to perform at the 26th Annual MTV Video Music Awards. Jay-Z would be belting out one of his songs from the ‘The Blueprint 3’ singles, while Lady GaGa is likely to croon to the tunes of one of the super hits from her multi-platinum garnering album ‘The Fame’.
Lady Ga Ga remarked on her forthcoming performance at the gala event stating that she was utterly fuelled with the conscription. She was visibly overwhelmed at been offered the chance to both perform as well as be nominated for the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards.
The musical duo join the already impressive line-up of upcoming performances by Nelly Furtado, Leighton Meester from the Gossip Girl fame and actress Miranda Cosqrove of iCarly are in line to present the awards, joining the line of formerly pronounced presenters of the likes of Kate Perry, Ne-Yo and Chance Crawford.
The 2009 MTV VMAs will take place on 13th September at 9p.m. in the most prestigious locales in the New York City inclusive of the Radio City Music Hall hosted by the highly popular host Russell Brand who is slated to do a fine job this year too. The audience can expect loads of entertaining from talented artists Taylor Swift, Muse and Pink along with Jay-Z and Lady GaGa.
Beyonce Knowles offers stiff competition to Lady GaGa leading the hoard with nine nominations, followed by Britney Spears with seven nominations.
