The conclusion of the initial 3-hour long autopsy procedure carried out by the Los Angeles coroners have revealed no fetid play or precursors of trauma in the inopportune demise of the Pop star Michael Jackson. However, the final statement on the reason of decease has not come out with further toxicological procedures being conducted to decipher several loose ends.
Spokesperson Craig Harvey representing the LA County coroner specified the need to carry out a string of pulmonary and neuropathy analysis that will stretch the investigation to more than a month.
The mortal remains of the pop star was released to his kin during the late hours of June 27, to be taken to an unrevealed mortuary, though no memorial service plan has not been declared. The fraught pop star had reportedly converted to Islam in 2008 and has changed his name to ‘Mikaeel’. Jackson had reportedly embraced Islam at the home of friend Steve Porcaro who was the music composer of ‘Thriller’.
Jackson was heavily hung on Demerol injections which he used to get frequently inserted by a doctor as he was averse to needles. Those close to the star reveal that he was mighty obdurate in general, especially so in regards to his medical prescriptions and none could refuse his requests .Reports reveal that Jackson had taken a shot of Demerol shortly after which he went into cardiac distress. Dr.Conrad Murray, hired by AEG promoters for the O2 concert to be held in London, had been residing in the pop star’s Holmby Hills residence at the time of his breakdown had been giving CPR to Jackson but to no avail, till the paramedics arrived. The doctor would be probed as part of standard investigation.
Dr.Deepak Chopra who has been in close touch with the star for nearly two decades, was aware of the injectable narcotic pain killer, Demerol in addition to a host of other narcotics like opium-based pain reliever OxyContin that the star was addicted to, had tried to get the star off this habit but in vain. Research has revealed that Demerol has fatal reactions with a set of anti-depressants called the MAO inhibitors widely ranging from palpitation, raised blood pressure to heart attack. There have been many sited cases of fatal counter reactions between sleep medications and anti-depressants.
