Memorable IIFA Moments At Macau 2009

The IIFA Fashion Extravaganza 2009 bore witness to the film honcho Amitabh Bachchan turning ace-photographer as Bachchan gleefully captured many memorable moments on camera. Seated on the premier row with wife Jaya, who was earlier strongly rumoured to be absent and son Abhishek, Amitabh with his clicking skills seemed to have given the shutterbugs a run for their money. Aishwarya Rai was visibly absent from the event as she was busy honing up her dancing skills for the upcoming performance on the finale night.

One could see several movie stars and filmmakers making a beeline to the casino to try a hand on gambling, Zayed Khan was seen among the first to hit the casino. Lara Dutta seems to have learned the ropes from buddy Riteish Deshmukh and was seen all sprightly after winning on a few instances. While Riteish appeared pretty pleased in the companionship of new found love, vibrant Genelia D’Souza who was definitely eager to take a few pointers on the game. The positive chirp was not that evident with Director Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra as he claimed to be evaded by Lady Luck in this game but reluctantly decided to give it a try. David Dhavan was still optimistic about trying again even after losing a few rounds.

Kabir Bedi was all upbeat about playing a round or so of poker and was pleased as plum with the decedent settings of The Venetican casino. Sushmita Sen was also quite positive to roll a few dice during her stay.

Setting their hearts on winning big moolah, Randhir Rapoor and Ashutosh Gowarikar were reported to definitely give the game a try.
