Madonna’s latest single ‘Celebration’ is out, though for a chosen few who got to listen have felt that it is among the pop queen’s best songs heard over a period of a decade. Madonna puts her trademark spin in the song with fine lyrics, sounding quite appealing, reminding one of her glorious Vogue record.
The record has a fine fusion of both retro and novel. The bass instantaneously draws one’s attention with some lines are a kind of veneration to her old songs. With this latest record, Madonna is all set to be prettily perched in the top ten hits listing in U.S.
On the contrary, Mariah Carey’s ‘Obsessed’ has predictably slipped to 20th place from 11th
place in the iTunes charts listing in just its second week. With Mariah’s megastar stance, a debut single losing its place in the top ten slot is quite appalling.
With Mariah seemingly out of the Diva pursuit with her latest single ‘Obsessed’ that has taken mighty plunge, it is now a close contest between Madonna and Whitney in the forthcoming months.
