Beyonce Knowles and Alicia Keys are captured with effervescent looks, donning eye-catching costumes as they filmed ‘Put it in a Love Song’ video taken from the latter’s recent studio part ‘The Element of Freedom’ whose music video production is by her singer guy friend, Swiss Beatz.
On 9th February, Alicia Keys and her featured guest-cum-best buddy Beyonce Knowles hit Brazilian shanty area, one of the video scenes being shot at Morro de Conceicao slum town donning carnival- stirred costumes with matching vibrant head gears. Coincidently, this is the same shanty town that gathered global recognition subsequent to Michael Jackson having filmed ‘TheyDon’t Care about Us’ music video here. Dona Marta shanty was another location the other scene was filmed.
Though officially Rio Carnival flags off two days after, however Beyonce
seemed to have got the festivities into motion already as she graced the streets putting on a spectacular show as she paraded around alongside Alicia Keys seen in a vivid feathery headdress and silver outfit.
Previously spotted in Carmen Miranda motivated number Beyonce flashed her finest gyrations as she boogied on the steps of an abandoned bus. The pop star was they spotted at the Praca Maua square prancing about in a green-blue play outfit. The singer donned bright purple-yellow eye make-up matching perfectly with her similarly attention-grabbing outfit.
Alicia Keys was also spotted performing over a roof top of a house that was shadowed by the Overpowering presence of Christ The Redeemer in the Morro Santa Marta slum town.
This is the foremost occasion that the duo has joined forces in spite of having been thick of friends since long. Alicia also reportedly shares a close bond with Beyonce’s hubby Jay-Z and the duo having worked jointly on last year’s hit Empire State Of Mind.
