Raring to go after Juno’s fruitful alliance, Oscar-winning screen writer, Daiblo Cody along with Jason Reitman have endeavoured yet again for the Karyn Kusama directed horror comedy flick ‘Jennifer’s Body’ that effectively captures the nostalgic feel of a time when horror films effortlessly gelled together comedy and fright.
A nightmarish movie that chronicles the tale of a devil-possessed popular cheerleader, Jennifer Check played by Megan Fox to satisfy her insatiable appetite, entices guys into secluded locales to devour them. Her simplistic best buddy, Seyfried, is compelled to go loggerheads with her to shield the smallish Minnesota farming town of having its male populace depleted. To sort matters out she has to end her best pal Jennifer’s life, then flee the dilapidated insane correctional facility to unswervingly pursue a sect of people who are a Satan-adherent rock band responsible for her friend’s vile transformation.
After combating colossal sized robots in Transformers, the slick Megan Fox is back, seen scuffling with old pal, Needy Lesnicky in a tussle of sorts, who along with Jennifer’s tame boyfriend, Chip Dove played by Johnny Simmons are trying their best to overpower her.
Jennifer’s Body is a mish-mash of sheer cannibalism, tons of stomach churning shots and not to be missed, the sizzling nimble actresses Megan Fox and Seyfried.
