Jay-Z would be going all out to help amass funds to lend a hand to the kin of the police officials and fire-fighting squad that had laid down their lives during duty, at the time of the September 11 attacks. Jay-Z is slated to perform on 11th September at a concert to be held at the Madison Square Garden, called ‘Fuse Presents Jay-Z Live from Madison Square Garden: Answer the Call’.
The event would also showcase his latest release ‘The Blueprint 3’ that would be also open in the U.S during 11th September. The live streaming of the charity concert would be seen on Fuse. The entry tickets for the concert were up for grabs on 24th August costing close to 600 dollars for a duo.
Jay-Z during a press conference stated that the benefit and the concert portray the real collective spirit of the New York City. He publicly urged all to respond to the call and turn up to show their support, solidarity and respect to those families who lost their near and dear ones in the call of duty on 11th September 2001, that was real show of comradeship and hardiness.
In the meanwhile, Jay-Z’s upcoming tracks are circulating the web, one being ‘Off That’ a duet he shares with Drake and the other being ‘Reminder’.
