Ian Brown earlier star of Stone Roses has exposed of setting up to write and record a collection with Manchester musician and The Smiths guitarists Johnny Marr. Ian Brown is eagerly waiting to form a marvelous group to write soundtrack for his mutual friend’s new TV drama show. Proposal made is that Johnny would write the music and Brown would write words and melodies.
Brown always desired to involve earlier Stone Roses band mate Mani or Happy Monday’s bassist Paul Ryder. Theme for this drama include ticket touts, grafters, kids who sell T- shirts and another one regarding pickpockets. Brown added up saying we are going to gather and do soundtracks for this show, needs to find a capable drummer and a bass player inside the group. Mancunian music legends have there houses near to each other in Lymm, Cheshire. They first met up in their youth in the late 1970 before they formed there own individual band. This new group has to find their own outer space, time between their own individual projects as Johnny Marr in recent time joined indie band The Cribs, and Brown has recently released My Way his sixth solo album. In an interview, Johnny Marr always desired to form a band with Brown when he was young but was alerted by guitarist John Squire as Brown was working and playing with his former band Stone Roses. Marr quoted in a book they had seen each other when they were around 16 or 17 years of old.
Finally, Marr desire of working together in a band with Ian Brown got accomplished.
