Rob Zombie is back with his bag of tricks, successfully putting his own twist on ‘Halloween’ and paying due respect to Carpenter’s movie. Zombie is back directing a follow-up to his Halloween 2007 remake that earned close to 79 million dollars globally for MGM and The Weinstein Company. One can expect the Zombie trademark, with suspense filled shots intermittently merged with weapon severing, loads of shattering, blood spattering, screeching- brawling shots bound to give one the goose bumps.
Michael Myers played by Tyler Mane, is back from hell with vane intentions to settle off family scores. This dreadful, mass slaughterer is leaving no stone unturned to get in touch with his sister, Laurie Strode, whom he has left in a battered condition in their old home. With a futile attempt to put a final plug on his sister, he is seen going crazed as he follows her to the hospital, leaving no one that comes in his way. One dipper is that Michael Myers will not be seen wearing the classic William Shatner based mask for three-fourth part of the movie.
The serene, calm settings of Haddonfield, Illinois is shattered with the comeback of the murderous Myer with his histrionics running riot, as he is hell-bent to seek reprisal of the dark past that involves his sister Laurie. Rob Zombie gives free rein to his lacerating legacy in this movie will Myers sparing no one in town to seek conclusion to the covert secrets of his crazed past.
