A legend was lost on 25th June, with the dancing and music era never being the same as the phenomenal Michael Jackson passes away at the age of 50. The untimely demise is suspected to be due to a medicine overdose, though the autopsy is expected in the next 24 hours.
The paramedics found no pulse on Jackson on their arrival at 2:20 p.m. PDT after he suffered from a fatal cardiac arrest at his Holmby Hills house in LA. Jackson was then immediately airlifted to the minutes away UCLA hospital where he was reported to have slipped into a comma. At 3:15 p.m. PDT, he was officially pronounced dead after failed attempts to revive him. His sister La Toya was confounded with utter grief as she was seen uncontrollably weeping as she rushed to the hospital after the news broke out.
Despite being in poor form, Jackson was reportedly preparing for his impending tour at O2 arena, U.K. More than 7,00,000 tickets for the show were sold at the quickest rate ever in the history with sales going at 11 tickets per second. The concert was valued at US $50million.
Jackson had been suffering from a host of health ailments for a long time and had not concluded a single concert tours in more than a decade.
