The celeb duo Chris Brown and Rihanna whose infamous split hogged tabloids due to the former battering his, at that time girlfriend, Rihanna during February, is once again in the news. The singer has made his first public request for forgiveness for his mauling behaviour towards his girlfriend in a two minute video apology on 20th July, Monday.
The video apology appears a month post going into an appeal pact on multiple attack charges branching from the 8th Feb assault episode for which he has been charged of thrashing Rihanna. In the video rush, Chris is spotted unswervingly conversing to the camera saying that what he did was inexcusable and he would not make any excuses about it. He further added that he was very sad and ashamed about what he did, stating that his mother and spiritual teachers have taught him way better than that.
Brown said he had make apologies to Rihanna on several occasions for not being able to handle the matter in a different and better manner. The 20-yr-old singer was seen garbed in red front buttoned shirt explicating that he desired to go public on the incident for quite some time but was advised otherwise by his attorney, till lawful implications were resolved.
Brown seemed quite repentant wishing to be able to have a chance to relive those moments again, which he unfortunately couldn’t. Brown is slated to be punished on 6th August, pointed to the domestic abuse he himself was a victim of, when he was a child. He said he has sought assistance in this matter to ensure such incidence would never occur again.
Brown and Rihanna had been going out for a year till the incident in February occurred, following which he was detained on charges of attack and issuing immoral threats against Rihanna.
