Celeb Sighting at Red Carpet Oscars 2010

Following months of prepping for the finale event comprising of dress trials, discussions with dress designers and fixing appointments for beauty therapies it finally all set together perfectly for the glam ladies.

The Oscars red carpet saw a bevy of immaculately dressed ladies as they strutted their finest posing for the shutter bugs.

The twenty-four-year old actress Carey Mulligan nominated for best actress category stood out in a classy dark Prada outfit adorned with mini scissor, spoon, fork works and equally stylish Fred Leighton dangling ear rings.

Sandra Bullock donned an iridescent fitted silverfish gown made of vintage material. Mariah Carey was spotted in a cleavage revealing Valentino outfit meant for someone with a smaller size. However, that did not seem to prevent her from donning it as she smiled gleefully for the cameras alongside hubby Nick Cannon.

Kate Winslet sure took the crown for the being splendidly dressed in a stylish beautiful off-shoulder YSL gown and spectacular Tiffany diamond earrings.

Sarah Jessica Parker turned heads in an off-shoulder Chanel gown. Melanie Griffiths was seen alongside husband Antonio Bandaras. J-Lo looked ravishing in a classic Armani gown. Forty-something Demi Moore looked refreshing in peach gown with a frilly base.

Meryl Streep, a veteran Oscar winner has a third nomination during the current year too, chose to play it safe in an all white outfit.

Floor-sweeping, off-shoulder gown were a favourite with actresses Charlize Therone and Rachel McAdams as they opted for soft pastel shades.

Penelope Cruz chose a maroon off-shoulder gown by designer Donna Karan with Chopard danglers to complete the look. Vera Farmiga, Jane Seymour and Sigourney Weaver all preferred scarlet tone outfits.

Gabourey Sidibe from Precious was seen smiling away in a blue gown. Zoe Saldana of Avatar fame was spotted in a lavender tone gown while Amanda Seyfried opted for all-white princess-themed gown.

After having spent nearly forty minutes on the red carpet, the nominees were offered some champagne.

Cameron Diaz was the among final few to be seen on the red carpet in an off-shoulder beaded outfit.
