Dame Vera Lynn Veteran singer received a lifetime achievement award at the 54th annual Women of the Year lunch. 92-year-old who trumped last month became the oldest living artist in the world to have a number one album and became the oldest living artist to top the UK album chart.

Stephen Gately Boyzone singer died suddenly at the age of 33 during his holiday stay in Majorca. Gately was on holiday with his long term collaborating partner Andy Cowles. His band mates were completely shocked hearing the news of his death. Spanish Police mentioned there were no signs of suspicious circumstances yet the cause of the death is not known.
Four remaining members of Boyzone mentioned Gately as friend and brother. They added saying wonderful times are shared and spend together over years and were looking forward of spending and sharing many more memorable times. Pop singer Michael Jackson song to be revealed to world since the star’s death. The track as been named as “This is It” same name as the late King of Pop planned for his comeback concerts received its first air play nearly after four months.
This track features backing vocals by Jackson’s brothers, the soulful ballad that features the star singing softly “I never thought that I would be your lover” however; it is not known whether they were recorded beforehand or after the star’s death in the month of June. Folk writer and songwriter Donovan has been given the title of “Icon” at the annual London awards ceremony organized by BMI. Organizers praised the 63-year-old legend who gave hit songs in a row during his career including Mellow Yellow and Jennifer Juniper for transforming music in 1960’s.
