Wife Kim admitted to him getting hooked on drugs once again, citing it as one of the major causes of their split. Eminem openly admitted to going on a binge with sleep medications, anti-depressants and other substance abuse. The mammoth race to the superlative prize awarded to competing films in the Cannes Film Festival, the Palme d’Or (meaning Golden Palm in French) is on its final leg. Heralding the Cannes’ election night is the long-winded 12 day long paraphernalia during which the jury and critics skim through all the movies vying for the coveted Palme d’Or. The 62th Cannes festival concluding on the 28th May, is being held in Palais which has its usual share of star power presence.
With no preceding awards like the Golden Globes, or the Guild Awards and the total annual jury change, it is no one’s guess as to who would emerge out the winner. Terminator Salvation Movie Review
This McG directed sci-fi flick, a day of reckoning chartbuster, Terminator Salvation, has all the elements of post ordeal judgement day status. The time set at 2018, post the allegory Armageddon, the time when mankind bore the brunt of the planet’s machines which united with the sole purpose to skim out all humans. Scarlet hued, shimmering metallic robots spanned the debris skimming for any remaining human survivors, many of whom scuttled away from the line of automatic firing.
Such ravagers are these terminators who are programmed by Skynet, one need to steer clear of any debris arising from assaulting them. Skynet ‘s master plot of total scrapping out of all existing humans is evident in its preset antagonists in varied larger-than-life forms of saucer-razor mix shaped, makes the movie quite mechanized and hence, lacking sentiment and spirit.
