‘Ice Age: Dawn of the Dinosaurs’ seems to be working its charms as it touches pinnacle position on the global box office charts, following the largest ever international opening for an animation movie.
The movie has grossed $148million from 101 overseas markets making it the sixth largely leading opening. In comparison to the previous two ‘Ice Age’ movies that came out in 2002 and 2006, the current movie’s global counts is placed at $215.5 million in just a few days of its opening, having a whooping ticket sell out of close to $42.5 million through the three day holiday weekend in US.
With the current movie that cost Fox nearly $90 million, the movie’s performance at the box office is a colossal accomplishment for Blue Sky and Fox who seem to have beyond a doubt whipped out the finest hit the year will see, as it carves an indelible impression in the minds of all ages.

Jackson memorial service – An emotional cataclysm amongst massesMichael Jackson’s flower bedecked gold casket was placed on the stage at his memorial service held in Staples Centre in Los Angeles. The casket was transported in a cavalcade under the supervision of the California Highway Patrol escort, as many sections were cordoned off to avert any blockages that might occur during peak morning hour. The mass memorial service was preceded by an intimate service for kin and those close to Jackson in a graveyard hall located in Hollywood Hills.

The Memorial service for Michael Jackson is finally scheduled at the Staples Centre Arena, Los Angeles, after his will surfaced, putting to rest all speculations that Neverland Ranch was the concluding choice.
