LifeGem, a company that transformed the hair strands of the famed Ludwig van Beethoven into diamonds will yet again adopt the similar procedure on the hair of the King of Pop, Michael Jackson.
The CEO of LifeGem, Greg Herro had stated that a bunch of Jackson’s hair that was scorched while filming for the well-known Pepsi commercial in 1984 may well be used to create nearly 10 half-carat diamonds.
The process would involve heating the hair strands to close to 5,400 degrees that would turn it into carbon, which would further undergo crystallisation and be converted to diamonds. The patented procedure would take close to nine months.
Herro further mentioned that their process of growing diamonds is similar to Earth’s natural process, but their process is significantly faster.
