The sixth in line, of the movie series that initiated from the superlative writings of the author J. K. Rowling, Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince, slated to release in mid-July, centres around life in Hogwarts, where pubescent, in-house wizard apprentice, Harry Potter comes back to resume yet another additional year in school. Under the wise knowledge base of Dumbledore, Harry soon realizes the imminent peril of the kid who grew to become the infamous Voldemort, who has constricted his hold on the muggling and wizardly world, and trains him for the impending mêlée.
Harry comes across a Potions book which belonged to the mystifying Half-Blood Prince. Harry notices primordial scrawling etched throughout the book, guiding him on how to enhance his skills and informing him about varied useful and sometimes treacherous spells. Meanwhile, Dumbledore leaves no stone unturned to fine tune Harry’s skills for the ultimate clash, by taking the assistance of his good old pal, the oblivious new entry in school, the Professor Horace Slughorn, who plays the critical role in demystifying key information.
Harry is quite perturbed by Draco Malfoy’s weird, slinky behaviour which makes Harry suspect his involvement with Voldermort. Romantic overtures seem to inundate the school atmosphere with Harry, Dean and Ginny engulfed in a love triangle of sorts. The lively Lavender Brown seems to have taken a fondness for Ron, making her feelings evident by the chocolate offerings for him, which Ron’s friend; Hermoine doesn’t seem pleased about as she has secretly started harbouring feelings for Ron.
In between all this tug-of-war of hearts, no one could deduce the imminent augment of Voldemort’s sinister power. With catastrophe lying in near future, Hogwarts might never have the safe disposition it once held. One is bound to be bewildered by the unanticipated culmination of the movie with plenteous eye-popping action scenes. The one moral that one gathers from this being that there is lot more than what meets the eye, and many-a-times one might be misguided by appearances and false put-ups.
